BAIF Agriculture Research Foundation

Today we went to BAIF foundation. I learned about agriculture in this foundation. they shared about agriculture improvement and foundation information. foundation started first in Maharashtra. Manisaheb Desai started this foundation.
BAIF foundation helps to villagers to improve their income on dry land. everyone villagers have dry land foundation had given method to grow in field different types of cropping it helps to get income form crop. foundation main objective is to improve the soil fertility, improve the health of soil. to improve the cropping pattern, to develop the land boundaries of the land, to improve the income generation activity in the villages.
I learned about vermi compost in the farm. varmi compost is most important for the crop. it gives to improve the production. they are getting income by vermi compost selling to other villagers. per kg they are getting rupees 30. they are growing different type of crops in the field. villagers are only in 1 ekkar they are getting more income by all differant crops and income generation activity. most of the villagers are grove in farm mango trees, chikku trees, peru trees, form they are getting profit. when i was in M.S.W collage i visited on project in solapur, but i am not understood all those things in one day. Here I am understood in deeply. it is very help full me. villagers are earning on dry land I surprised when I visited in field because In majority of villages not earning on dry land. here I surprised to see. they are growing plants and conserving water in the field. it helps to all the season we can earn money in the field. This methods are very useful for who have less and large land they can earn money by using this method.
One farmer told first he got help form BAIF then he followed this method. He is earning money on that land. He grove in farm different types of plants in field. He grove fruits plants he is getting profit by this plant. He is giving water only once in a week. also he is doing Vermi Compost. He is getting income on plants, vermi compost, animal husbandry, Nursery planting, this method is very important in the any field. If they are not using proper land. This method is very important for their income.
